I just had my 2024 Equinox LT outfitted for flat tow

They installed BlueOx and a Demco stay in play that works fine

I am trying to install the Demco Coachlink monitor and am having problems trying to find the cold wire to the Vehicles braker light switch

where can i gain access to this wire??

Thanks

Chevy's revised towing procedure for the 2023 and 2024 Equinox mandates that the car battery be disconnected completely once the car is put into flat tow mode.

So the first question is whether your installer installed a battery disconnect switch. If not, you need to go back to them and have them correct their defective installation.

That being said, in case they did install a battery disconnect and you really do need to find a ground when the brake pedal moves, your best bet may be to just install a separate switch on the brake pedal. Roadmaster makes such a kit for that purpose. Here's a link fro etrailer: https://www.etrailer.com/Flat-Tow-Brake-System/Roadmaster/RM-751489.html

If you disconnect the car battery, turn the Demco controller on, and step on the brake both their red LED strip and the Coachlink should light up. Do they?
