I have a 2022 RS and decided to pull the trigger on the illuminated bowtie and I must say I’m disappointed. After spending $350 and about 2 hours fishing wire it seems very dim. It’s impossible to see in the daytime as opposed to the drl’s and at night the headlights outshine it. And to make matters worse I broke two tabs on my original bowtie …
I don’t know if mine is defective or not but wondering if anyone installed one and it seems dim to you too. I’ve seen others on the road and they seem brighter and the one on the new equinox EV commercial seems plenty bright.
