Heated Oxygen Sensor - GM (12701634) replacement

Greetings to all.
Does anyone have experience replacing the Heated Oxygen Sensor?
I want to replace it, but I don’t know if I can do it on my own, or do I need to go to the service?
I have a chevy equinox 2018 1.5 lt

Simple to replace but why are you replacing it ? Odd that a 2018 would need one already do you have tons of mileage? Codes? Issues?
