Hi guys, new here.

I am in the process of swapping the motor of my 05 Chevy Equinox.
I have the motor with transmission on the cradle out on the garage floor.
I remove all bolts holding them together (I think) but having a hard time separating them.

Can someone help me figure out what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Should come apart easily, you need to look more, also I just swapped an 07, conventional through the hood, if you remove the exhaust manifolds it does work and can be done that way

Starter is out? Normally the flex plate is unbolted from torque converter on trans removals. I don’t know if it could be a hang up. Look at new motor and count all bolt holes on bellhousing. You can compare new motor mounting holes to current motor.
It’s an Asin af-33 Trans. A toyo trans might have a few tricks,
