The default background for this forum is Dark.
Is it possible for me to change it to Light?
For me, it's very difficult to see things like links with the Dark background.
When I go to Account Details, Settings is greyed out.

I couldn't find anything that would allow this. Settings is grayed out.

I don't care for it, either. I also can't find any settings regarding it. I have sent their support a message to confirm if it can even be changed. I doubt it, but I'll report back what I hear.

One problem I thought of, this forum uses a lot off yellow text. Yellow on a white background is hard to see.
If we get the option for a light background a Admin may have to go through and change text color for thread titles and dates.

With most sites that offer both a dark theme and a light theme, link colors and other things automatically change colors between themes to match the new theme (it's already programmed in). i just don't think they offer a light theme. We shall see. Assuming their support replies to me. :)

if you highlite a link with your mouse, it will make it easier to read. Not a fix, but a work around that I use often.

At the very bottom of any page on the forum you will see a link to a "Style Chooser" just above the words "Community platform by Xenforo 2010 - 2024 Xenforo Ltd."

Click on that link and you will have the option to pick one of four styles including "Default Style" which is light, "Chevy Equinox Forum O" which is dark, "FullyDriven Framework" which is dark and "Chevy Equinox Forum" which is also dark.

If you want a light colored display, choose the "Default Style" option.

Hi, Michael;

I am not seeing any links called "Style Chooser". I've tried from several different pages. Maybe you're seeing different setting options than we see, because you're logged in as an admin?

Jeff,

Look at the very bottom of this page...and scroll to the left and down to the little paint brush. In this picture it's titled, "Chevy Equinox Forum". Let me know if you see it.

Doesn't look like you can view that, Jeff. Let me investigate this a bit further.

The function should be available to all members here.

@CocoaJeff

Refresh your screen and look again, Jeff. Doesn't matter what page you are on at the moment. I will use you as my forum test guinea pig. :ROFLMAO:

Hi, Maddog;

Nope, still not seeing anything like that. I'm using Win11, and Edge is my default browser. But I also tried in Firefox. This is what the bottom left corner of the site looks like for me:

Thanks, guys.

I'll keep digging into this and find the solution.

@Lee @CocoaJeff

When you can, and there is no rush, let me know what color background you have now.
