Thought I had successfully overhauled a 2017 2.4L engine, runs great, but today see coolant in the oil. What's the most likely cause?

Another possible option could be a cracked cylinder head. I purchased a used Dodge Dakota (2002) and had that same issue.

The mechanic said I'd blown a seal. I told him to fix the damn thing and leave my private life out of it...
A fella likes what he likes..

In regards to the 2.4L having oil/coolant co-mingle, I can only think a cracked head or leaking HG. For starters, I'd get a hold of an endoscope cam and scope each cylinder

Have scoped each cylinder. Some carbon, no liquid. Did a compression test, cylinder PSI were 130, 85, 40, 50. When i added a little oil to top of piston, 180, 105, 70, 115. New rings have about 800 miles on them, likewise new valves. Presssurized the coolant, nothing leaked through onto the pistons. Oil has coolant in it, creamy color.

I had the same issue on a 2.4l Terrain and it was an overheated issue , They had to change the gaskets (also use a spacer so the timing chain doesn´t be lose).
