Auto Stop...?

OK, 2024 LT, i'll be brief. when stopped for any reason the engine will idle down as it should, however, after a few minutes of not moving the rpms will increase and it feels as if someone has bumped into the rear of the car.....This can't be normal, anyone else have this issue?

Sometimes on my 2018 it feels like a slight bump to the rear of the car when the engine restarts.
My 2018 does not have the factory button to turn off auto stop and I never bothered to add a after market option.

Auto stop is one of the most useless functions. I don't have a "button" or an option to disable mine, so I opted for the $25 module from ScAmazon to disable ours. Takes about 5 minutes to install right near the hood latch above the radiator. There are a couple of different versions depending on your year/model. No engine trouble lights. Piece of cake!
