2012 equinox tailgate / liftgate light

There is a long thing light on outside of liftgate that has burned out - any idea how to replace?

have to be a bit more specific a long thing i think you mean long thin light on the lift gate is it a backup lamp? or the 3rd brake light? just long thin light is real vauge. try to post a photo so we have somthing to go on to help
