I have a 2011 Equinox that is periodically stalling and hesitating. After the third time it stalls the check engine light comes on and either the code P0420(catalytic converter) pops or code N/a pops. I have recently replaced both O2 sensors and the catalytic converter. Issue has continued to occur. Has anyone had the same issues, and if so how were they resolved?

Have the throttle body checked. I think there was some extended warranty for that problem on certain years.

If you have the 4 cylinder engine have you had excessive oil consumption along with the poor engine performance?

I had the same issue on my 2011 and I changed the sensor, stopped the oil consumption. But also had an oil consumption log at the dealership and after 10 visits and 3 months later they finally did the job for free.

Check the code I have and maybe that's the easy fix for you.fae417b15d7490c29f13607b778f253d.jpg

Oil consumption issue. go to the dealership, request an oil consumption test under TSB 16118 and see if they have to replace the pistons in the engine.

The throttle body was checked and they reprogrammed the ECM. It still has the same issue.

The sensor was changed out in 2015. P0010 is the code that is there with the check engine light.

P0010 and P0011 usually mean one of the two the Variable Valve Timing solenoids are going bad. I had intermittent CEL and stalling issues. I replaced both solenoids for about $110 (easy DIY job). Solved the problem.
