I have a 2008 Equinox AWD with the following problem.
The fuel gauge used to read zero after a fill up and would start working properly after the tank was down to around 3/4 full.
Now the gauge always reads zero and the check engine light is always on so it will not pass the emissions test here in PA.
The light always came on before but went out after the gauge would start working.
I know there is a fuel sending unit and a couple of level sensors in the tank so does anyone have a suggestion on what the cause may be?
