2006 Throttle Body Replacement

I had to replace the throttle body on a 2006 Torrent, as it happens I had a used one but I would like to get a new one and wanted to ask who all has bought one adn what brand to not buy. Since GM no longer makes this part I have to depend on China Made I guess and I need to buy one that is can trust.

That is what is on it now, a used one off a junk Torrrent. I was hoping for advice on what people are buying new that has proven reliable. I've run into the same issue on my '96 Caprice with the Opti Spark, the puckup modules are now all made in China and very undependable so I'm going to convert my car to a 411 PCM like the Camaro/Firebird guys are doing to bypass the module and use the crank sensor. Maybe someone that's gone through this will jump in. Thanks.

I purchased a new one for 2nd gen equinox from AutoZone

I’ve never changed a throttle body due to elec issues. I suppose it could be bad wiring or plug or even foot throttle in the equation of poor or no function. But, if a new TB solves problem then that’s good.
