Hello all forum members, I am as new as it gets to this forum and of course have a puzzle for any or all to solve. So I own a 2005 Chevrolet equinox LS (3.4L v6, automatic transmission, FWD, 73,000kms) and every time i start it up to drive somewhere, within the first 15 minutes of driving it I hear a distinctive knocking pattern coming from underneath the car below the driver. It makes the knocking sound regardless of if its in drive or in park and moving or not. It almost sounds as if someone is knocking on the underside of the car and it's the same pattern every time. I decided to record the sound today and showed the video to my roommate (who is a mechanic) and even he was puzzled, his best guess was an ABS module or some sort of relay. Anyway, here is the link to my video with the knocking noise, good luck and thanks to all of those who reply.
