Hello there, I'm in need of a new transmission here soon. My 6T70 occasionally gets stuck in 1st gear due to a stuck shift solenoid, and is having a huge loss of power. I know this thing has a failing torque converter possibly as well. I wanted to know if a newer year 6T70 from 2013-2017 would be compatible as long as I used the same valve body from my 08 and it was a FWD like mine.
I'm not in the financial position to get a new remanufactured transmission so I'd like to snag a junkyard one of possible, either from the same year range as mine or newer if compatible.
