When I see the illustrations on various sites for replacing front and rear wheel bearings, I see one of two pics,.... one with a wire (4 bolt flange) and one without (three bolt flange). I assume the wire has to do with speed sensing for ABS. The car has ABS. Does that mean all four wheel...
It seems as if the OE bearings must not last very long,... or,.. rather,.. they must need frequent replacement. I count 16 different suppliers of these bearing assemblies on Amazon alone. Anyway, I would like to get some good info on which supplier has high-quality rear wheel bearing...
My Granddaughter's 2016 2.4L 2wd Equinox has noisy rear wheel bearings. Which aftermarket supplier has the best quality (meaning longest-lasting) rear wheel bearing assemblies?
How can you tell if an oil filler cap is the version with the pressure relief valve in it? The FC219 version. I'm having a rebuilt engine installed (2016 LT 2.4L Ecotec) and I want to make sure it has that improved cap on it.
These folks seem good. I had a couple of chats with them about their remanufactured engines, and they sound professional. Have any of you bought an engine from Power Source? https://www.bestrebuiltengines.com/product-page/ps2411gm
Same problem here with my Granddaughter's 2016 2.4L 2WD. The clear fluid comes out of what looks like the A/C condensate drain, but the fluid spot left on the concrete driveway lasts for a day or two and then just fades away. If it were simply A/C condensate, the fluid spot would be gone in...
My Grandaughter's 2016 LT is missing a lug nut. How that happened is beyond me.
The pic shows a wheel the way it is supposed look, eh? I think these are original equipment.
What are the dimensions of the OE lug nuts? (maybe M12X1.5? M14X1.5?)
After reviewing several videos on changing auto trans oil, it seems it is important to have the transmission oil between 85C and 95C when filling it back up with oil. Unless we have some very expensive test equipment, how are we supposed to know what the temp is so it can be filled back up to...
Are there lots of differences between LT and LTZ? My Granddaughter just got an LT and I was wondering what she might be missing out on by not having the LTZ.
A few days ago my oldest Granddaughter became the proud owner of a 2016 LT with 124000 miles. Carfax says it is a 2-owner car with no wrecks or major repairs, and with oil changes about every 5,000 miles.
The car looks brand new,.. no kidding,... it seems as if no one ever sat in it...
