    2005 Overheating

Replacement heads solved all kinds of issues. Been running great ever since. My son uses it pretty regularly. Good heat and power. Been about 3 years now

    2005 Overheating

In my case, one of the heads was severely eroded. Had to get 2 remanufactured heads. Picture worth 1K words right here. Exhaust gases pushing out to the water passage, but water wasn't going the other way. Odd failure, but pretty clear that's what it was.

If the block test comes up negative, I can see it being intake gasket. That would be a much better outcome

    2005 Overheating

I had this exact same thing. It's going to be head gaskets. It's pushing air into your coolant. Do yourself a favor and do a block test from the coolant reservoir. It'll get you a quick answer. Block Tester BT-500 Combustion Leak Test Kit - Made in USA https://a.co/d/7YvEEEd The shop I use...

    2007 rear driveshaft

I did the driveshaft on my 2008 3.4 recently. Pretty simple. Took about 45 minutes. Would have been 20 minutes, but the engine side of the driveshaft was a little rusted and stuck in the mount. Took some PB blaster and a tapered punch in the bolt holes to wiggle it out. Just a pain to do on...

    06 equinox rear driveshaft

Changing that bearing is not an easy task. Check the Haynes/Chilton. I bought this complete driveshaft from Amazon for my 2008 and had it at my house in a few days. About $340 delivered. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09LQYR49J/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Looks like...

Possible overheating and definitely Temp gauge issue.

Yeah. Head gasket, head erosion. Check the pic of the water passages on my cylinder head with 75K miles.

    Cooling system flow?

I had these same symptoms on my 2008 with the 3.4. Ended up being the head gaskets. Do a combustion leak test. Very simple to do and will tell you for sure if you have a head gasket leak. Don't wait for it to get worse, because it will.
