I have a 2013 Equinox with the 2.4 and has 111,000 miles on it came out the other day and it cranks over but will not start.Had it towed in has no codes has good compression and fuel. Was told that there is 12 volts on a reference wire and shouldn't be. They replaced ignition switch and that didn't solve it now they are telling me fuse box is bad but their not positive. Is this possible? I don't want to sink another 300 into this thing and still have the issue any help is appreciated thanks in advance.

Who'd you tow it to? Definitely stay away from a dealership. Maybe get a second opinion. I know from our fleet trucks at work that have the same symptoms we just try jumping the battery first and that works even if it's cranking. Also try some starter fluid.

Do you notice any vibrations in the vehicle after its shut off? Almost like an electrical current ? If im hearing correctly there is a drain on your battery?
