I fully expected the fuel door on a new vehicle to have to be unlatched from the inside, for that very reason. I was disappointed that it doesn't have that feature, especially with a capless gas system where I can't buy a locking gas cap.
Hmmm. I changed the link color to yellow, but it still wants to post light grey on a grey background. Just click around where it looks like the link should be, and it should come up from you. :)
The links in this forum don't show up very well, but the link is there. Let me repost and see if I can change the color:

It has no effect on the fuel door. It still sits flat.
I ended up buying the following product, just to make me feel better about it being sealed:

I have never, ever seen anything like that on the inside of the fender liner, on any vehicle. I agree with ricklack; maybe it came from the front side of the fender liner? Like some kind of bumper reinforcement? I did a Google image search for the part, and didn't come up with any exact...
I have a 2024 Premier, and I can confirm that it has the auto-dimming rear-view mirror... as well as the garage door opener. As well as a hundred other features I'm still trying to learn about. :)
I found this info from AutoTrader...
EEK. I am unfamiliar with the brand, but that is also what I have. But if they're that expensive and wear that quickly, i will definitely be rotating them often.
In the very first sentence, I said I had a 2024 Equinox. My signature file provides more specific details regarding my model:
2024 Chevy Equinox Premier - Red Line Edition
1.5L turbo DOHC DI VVT with automatic stop/start
Hydra-Matic 6T40 six-speed automatic (FWD)
I guess the turning radius of...
My 2024 Equinox doesn't seem to be any different than my prior 2011 Impala, as far as turning radius. I judge it by doing a U-Turn from the left turn lane, into the outer lane of a 2 lane highway on the other side. I definitely come close to the curb, but so far I've cleared it wherever I've...
Hi, Rathmullan;
I have the 19" rims and all-season blackwall tires (P235/50R19). I've had my '24 Equinox a little over a month and have put 1,000 miles on, and so far, I find the handling to be great. I live in Florida and have driven it through a couple of our afternoon downpours with no...
Welcome, Mike!
Seems kind of silly to have to buy a separate dashcam for a car that's covered in cameras. But that's probably what I'll do, since I do want to have one in case of accidents. GM should offer an option to be able to record data from the built-in cams.
Hi, Ed;
I had that feature on my old '11 Impala, and it was a nice feature. I just got a '24 Equinox and tried to test it last night by driving a couple of miles down a deserted road with my signal on. I never got any kind of alert. So it doesn't appear that the feature exists on newer Equinox...
Hello, everyone! My name is Jeff, I am a new Chevy Equinox owner (but not my first Chevy). I recently purchased a 2024 Chevy Equinox Premier, all black with the redline edition. So far, I love it very much. I look forward to visiting this forum often.
