The manual dimmer on the left side of the dash is one solution, but I find it is still TOO bright and I end up turning the display off in the screen settings. Though, the downside is the moment you get a call, turn up the volume, etc. It turns on again :( I hope that future software updates...

Yes it’s very disappointing. The first time I ever have had command start and I still need to go outside and start my car. Chev corporate customer service replied to a Facebook message I sent regarding th issue and they’re looking into it and contacting the dealer.
