For those that will ask (I expect it here)...The numbers are uncorrected and is Wheel HP/Torque....The engine's from factory are rated @ crank power.

That is an impressive gain in torque low end, this is a completely stock setup.

You can have Vince adjust to your liking. I believe he set the shift points for 7k on this

Thats what I am trying to talk to Jenna about... Maybe Justin can look into it!

I joined up the cobalt forum to see if they were tuning those engines since I think the are the same in the 4 cylinder category... I am reading that they make a tune for it...

Tune for the Equinox is nearly complete.....Since that dyno, there have been several changes in timing and other features further increasing the numbers :)

I can't wait to see the results from this! We will always want more power!

Re-Tune coming again in the next few days :D

Vince is a programming guru, finally figured out how to get past the no 100% throttle until roughly 3500rpms, stock programming allows only 65%.

Sounds very promising. I am glad that you are going through thisa maybe this will help others to tune their equinox, terrain or srx.

Sounds like he does great work...

OK...Car is retuned. Throttle reponse has been GREATLY increased. Plus engine sound is just down right nice :). Has a nice pur all the way up the rpm band now, instead of starting in the 4k rpm range.

Engine is liking this tune.

Now I need to come to florida to check it out....

Driving like a freaking champ! Torque curve is much flater, doesnt have the slight hesitation between 1000-2000rpms.

Numbers are 11whp/9lbs of torque...Remember our engines are rated in "crank" HP

But down low its 25ftlbs of torque more than stock (which is the noticeable part). The power comes in @ 3k vs the engine starting to scream @ around 5k. Similar to the Aussie LF1 that does peak torque @ 2900rpms. Flat torque curve. I havent even started to talk about the tranny improvements :).

If you come down I can flash it on yours for less than what Vince charges for the tune. We just got lucky our engines where some of the first to use this new style PCM Vince needed to crack, its on the upcoming 2.0L Turbo in the Regal which he will sale several tunes for I'm sure.

It'll only take me a little under 10 hours. 595 Miles. :D
