    Back .....

Hi folks...Not new just returning after getting a new(to us) Nox. We just traded in our 2011 Lt on a 2015 LTZ. The 11 served us well with minimal problems but , I really lusted after the 301 hp V6 and it's a difference maker for sure. The Z has every option (I think) even factory optioned 19"...

2012 doors rusting after 9 months.

Another potential rust area.. If you look at the front door hinge area you will see that GM has fabric mat hanging inside the fenders. I removed mine as the were sopping wet with salty water, it wouldn't take long for the tin worms to find a home at the fender bottoms. I noticed no increase in...

    AWD vs FWD

I agree with you on this. We traded in our Malibu FWD because it struggled up the incline of our snow covered driveway. Our 4 cyl. AWD Nox went up it like a tank all winter and both vehicles had Michelin all season tires. The snow falls here are epic and my wife never felt more confident...

    oil for 2010 nox

The little that I know about this.. I don't know if this applies to your 2010 but, it does for my 2011. GM strongly advises that you use Dexos1 oil. I also use Mobil 1 syn. which is Dexos1 rated....Mike. Here is an article on it: GM's New Engine Oil: Use It Or Else!

    Tpms

That honk would be a nice feature. I swear I have three different gauges, two were pretty expensive and they don't agree with each other or the TPMS. I have to laugh when the "tire experts" break it down to 1/2 lbs. increments :321:

    Tpms

found the reason.... GM has disabled the manual relearn feature, read this: https://gmspecialservicetools.service-solutions.com/Media/Common/Documents/EL-50448_rev_1.pdf I bought the Kent Moore reset tool to address this problem...seems that GM found a way to get more of our money :wtf2:

    Tpms

After having this 2011 since around Christmas I was checking tire pressures and noticed that they were out of position on the DIC . Tried to do the relearn procedure, got the two beeps to start but, lowering or raising the pressure on the dsf tire would not relearn(beep). So that explains why I...

    Wind deflectors....

Last summer I removed the side door strips from my Denali and that was on paint and suffered no ill effects, I have found that D&L hand cleaner which is lanolin w/o pumice breaks the adhesive down nicely. You have to be patient though, overnight works best. It will not harm paint, rubber, chrome ...

    Wind deflectors....

Let me pick your collective brains on this one. When we got my wife's 2011 nox it had what appears to be dealer installed stick on wind deflectors. I hate them because they look like all that add-on Lund stuff that was the rage a while back, they block some view, make cleaning more difficult...

Hearing all this makes one wonder why you would want to mess with the well thought out Pioneer system :banghead:

Started the front bumper trim today.. Started on the front and was surprised to find that all the mounting slots are clearly marked on the back(see pic). You would/want to remove it to do this. It's slow going with various gadgets to make the cutouts. A razor knife, hacksaw blade and files...
