The temp reading seems to be a little quirky. It may just be my imagination but I swear that in the winter it changes to a lower temp even at low speeds around town, but then when the weather warms you do have to get up above 50mph or so for the temp to rise from garage reading.
I don't pay any attention to the oil life monitor in the DIC and get mine changed every 6k miles or so. I use Mobil 1 and know that it will maintain viscosity for longer than 6k....but I really don't trust any filter to not get clogged or have the filter element break down.
Nope, I had the same thing happen to mine (popped screw) and I was in and out of the dealer in under 30 minutes. Hasn't been a problem since...and that was over a year ago.

My guess is that the raised portion under the rear seats is where the gas tank starts and then extends into the cargo area. Or maybe its the catalytic converter/exhaust piping safely up and away from road debris. With a vehicle this size certain compromises have to be made to insure decent...
The differences between the Nox/Terrain interior is all cosmetic and very minor, however GM did a good job catering to different tastes with the bodies...gone are the days of slapping on a different grill, calling it a "GMC" and charging a little more than the equivalent Chevy.
It's not a glitch, the a/c compressor kicks in when you have it set to "recirc" regardless of the a/c being turned on or not. A lot of GM car/trucks do this..
