I just bought this vehicle and had it put on a computer. It coded the throttle position sensor and I was wondering do I have to buy the whole throttle body to fix it? I cannot find a sensor anywhere. I have called dealerships and have been told that it's not in there computers. Any help and advice is appreciated.

Did you ever solve this issue?
I just ask because back in November 2015, I got a notice from Chevy that the TPS was causing problems on some 2008's and would be covered under warranty for 10 years from original date of purchase or 120,000 miles. You may have the same issue covered.
My wife was having issues on her 2008 Equinox LS back in March 2015, having a "Engine Reduced Power" message, Check engine light, and the car wouldn't accelerate. I hooked it up to my scanner and it faulted the TPS. I went to one of the Chevy parts sites found the Throttle Body part number 12609500. Checked it out on Amazon and purchased it. Saved some money on a Genuine A/C Delco part.
Just be sure to do the procedure to reset the computer for the new TPS other wise the vehicle won't work right.
