Sooo... what camera are you using?

Just curious to see what you are using to shoot those awesome photos?

My camera is starting to run through batteries just as an old 454 in a lifted silverado goes through gas... Must be the super swompers right? Llol...

Anyways, I am looking for a camera that takes almost flawless pictures and may have video camera capabilities....

Let's see what you got...

Cannon XSI is what I use for stills

For video I use a Hero HD

I think that my brother has the same camera... Yours is a Rebel right?

I was wanting something like that but with the option to take video... I don't know it will be a while before I will be able to make a decision...

Yep....Then its all a matter of good lenses. There are some good camera's that will take video these days, they have greatly improved them, but what lacks usually is the "zoom" range on them. The go pro takes decent pictures, and is a good HD video camera (use it for its durabilty and water proof), but I ahve heard some great reviews on kodaks recent camera similar to this, cannot recall its name atm

Canon
20D
40D
16x35 F2.8
70x200 IS F2.8
100x400 IS F2.8
400 F5.6

I want to upgrade the 20D to the 7D and hope I can before going to Yellowstone next year.

Well my digital camera that I bought in 2004 died so I will be watching for deals on cameras.

Z_Ghost 11-18-2010 07:12 AM

So what are you looking to spend?

dietz4ibanez 11-20-2010 12:16 AM

Probably around $500-600

dietz4ibanez 11-20-2010 12:17 AM

At least I think that's a good start!

Z_Ghost 11-20-2010 03:45 AM

You can get a nice one for that price.

Here is a good site for doing research.
