So since I have the equinox I notice that the biggest difference to me is that external look. My brother mentioned getting one and said that he liked the interior better on the terrain. My thought was the biggest difference was the lighting? Is this the case or is there more to it?

Thanks

Minor suttle differences in vent trim and a few other things....Its not a huge difference between them honestly when talking high trim levels.

Thats what I thought.... To me the deciding factor if you were considering the 2 would be the exterior look. I like the Terrain but the Equinox has a look that triggered my buying!

I much prefer the blue interior lighting in the 'Nox vs the red lighting in the Terrain. And, I also prefer the black vent surrounds on the center stack of the 'Nox compared to the silver on the Terrain.

Yeah I am with you on that... That red in the terrain would bother me to no end!

I am not 100% a fan of its more boxy look too!

I agree, wholeheartedly. The squared off wheel fenders are a big turn off to me. And, the giant grill on the front does nothing for me, either. But, it does seem to be selling well, so that's good.

Yeah I was recently arguing with someone who felt strongly that the Terrain was pointless with the SRX and Equinox. I on the other hand disagree since I think that the Terrains numbers will go up and have been up since the later release over the Equinox.

The differences between the Nox/Terrain interior is all cosmetic and very minor, however GM did a good job catering to different tastes with the bodies...gone are the days of slapping on a different grill, calling it a "GMC" and charging a little more than the equivalent Chevy.

Yeah. I wish that I could afford the SRX... That thing looks sweet. If I was rich I would own one of each. Terrain, Equinox and SRX...

I was there getting an O/C yesterday, they had a Buck
in the lobby and it looks like it's on a similar platform to.

Nice looking interior appointments, but exterior grill was
kinda fugly, although this is only my honest opinion, lol.

Hell F'N NO, I was just looking while waiting on my O/C.

If the Blazer sells I'll be bringing home something in
the 1937-1946 range. (Chevrolet or GMC Pick Up)

The 1st thing I'm doing is buying a Car Hauler

The Buick Enclave is on the larger Lambda plateform (Chevy Travarse, Buick Enclave, GMC Arcadia, Saturn Outlook)...

The Nox/Terrain is on the Theta

The SRX/9-4x are on the Theta-Epsilon platform

I like the Acadia the most out of all of those.

I'm for the Buick myself.....Its ones of the more expensive, but it just has a look to it that the others cannot manage, then dont even compare the interiors :)

But if I did want something to tow...I believe the travarse still has a special towing package allowing it to tow more weight compared to the others

I personally think GMC should've been AXED in 2009 and they kept the Saturn line

But then again I don't think they should have axed the Pontiac line either. I still want me a G8! Those cars are nice.

Pontiac had no actual cars THEY made anymore that where sellers.

G8 was a Holden (very nice car too)
Solistice was an Opel (very nice as well)
Vibe was a Toyota

That just left the Torrent, G6 and G5....everything else was just a rebadged something else
