Any of you guys have your fuel/temp gauges go goofy on you:Insane:? It hasn't happened lately, but there are times where the fuel gauge would either go all the up past full (10 o'clock position) or close to empty when there's plenty of fuel. The temp gauge would sometimes go up too but mostly the fuel gauge.

Sometimes when those gauges stop working properly it can be time for a new sending unit. I'm kinda making wild accusations but I don't know what year model vehicle you have so this may not be accurate.

Also it could be condensation on the device that transmits the fluid levels to the gauges. This could be spawned by the cold temps!

We're getting the goofy gauges again. I think you're right about the cold temps causing the problems because we haven't had this problem over the summer/fall. What can we do about the condensation?
