2012 Nox Leather Seats vs my Cloth Seats

So I was at the dealer getting my oil changed (they gave me a few free ones :) ) I was bored so I was rolling the lot, and saw a nice 2012 Black Granite Nox 2LT, and sure enough it had Leather!
When I bought my 1LT I never had the chance to sit in a 2LT or LTZ with Leather and at the time there was none in my State that was Black Granite.
I made the mistake of sitting in this 2LT, and WOW what a huge difference in the seating. So soft and comfortable I almost cried lol

The only 2 complaints I ever have with my Nox is the hard cloth seating and touch screen out of reach. When I sat in that NOX with Leather I was regretting so much on getting just the cloth lol
When I bought mine I guess I was thinking usually its not that much a difference unless its a high end luxury car. My wife's Malibu LTZ has nice Leather, but its still not as comfortable as the Nox leather I experienced.

I am officially scorn now and I am curious how much it would cost for these seats, the sticker said $800 for the leather. More likely I won't put em in, but if for some luck reason if I ever came across a full black leather set I would get em.

I am sure they are big $$ since there is a AirBag built in. Anyone have the part numbers or know how much $$?

So Those of you that have leather in your Nox's I congratulate you. Trust me you are not missing the rock hard cloth seats lol

Has anyone ever done a swap? I am sure this would prob void my warranty if I did swap seats and if not done by a dealership. But we all know $$$$ for that.

I still Love my Nox though :)

I found these aftermarket ones from Katzkin, but they are pricey, I wonder if they are better than factory or more comfortable. check it

I think that $800 cost is just to take the seats apart that you have now and re rap with leather.

I think i posted that my lumbar broke so I had to take the majority of the seat apart. I will look up the part numbers when I get a moment this weekend. You can look at GmPartsDirect.com and it should be a little cheaper!

I have a 2012 BGM 2LT with leather, and yes it is very nice. when i was looking and the dealers were trying to push the cloth interior(because that was all they had) they were telling me it would be like $1k to do the seats in leather, but of course it wouldn't be factory. so i just continued to look and found one with leather. good luck with your search and if you get it done, hoep it turns out the way you want it.

I like my leather seats a lot.
Might get lucky and find some for sale out of a wrecked one

My mother-in-law has the leather in her Nox and it is very nice. But we really don't dislike our cloth seats. Pretty comfortable to me. Are there different kinds of cloth seats in the different Nox model years?

I had the dealer install these as an option when I purchased the car. I bought a LS, and was not pleased with the poor seat material. They are VERY comfortable and there is a HUGE difference from the cloth seats. My dealer only added $1500 to the total price, and they also installed heated seats, which was a nice surprise. Katzkin also included a leather portion for the center arm rest. You can get them in many colors, but I choose stock colors that the LTZ models come with, without the red stitching.
